Hermanus Beckons
Wanderlust & Whales
Where is Hermanus Located?
Hermanus – located on the south coast of South Africa’s Western Cape province – is approximately 120 kilometres from Cape Town.
A 90-minute drive from the Mother City will get you to our pristine coastal town. If you would rather take the scenic route, Clarence Drive (R44) is the way to go. The drive is just over two hours, but worth every extra second.
The geographical location of Hermanus provides sea views and whales to the one side and mountainous winelands to the other. This is just one of the reasons why our fisherman’s village turned luxury holiday destination should be part of every itinerary.
